PUL QuickSearch is a new pilot service which allows users to search multiple databases simultaneously to easily identify research articles and other materials. The databases available in PUL QuickSearch have been selected and acquired specifically for students, faculty and staff of Princeton University Library.

- search multiple databases together using an easy Google-like search box
- search general databases or subject specific databases
- quickly revise your search and limit by date of publication
- search each database title separately if preferred
- save, print or email search results
- sort results by date, relevance, author or title
- use the ‘Findit @ PUL’ button in search results to access online full text of many titles, or check title availability on the shelves of Princeton University Library.
- General QuickSearch (Proquest, Academic Search Premier, Omnifile, Main Catalog )
- Search three general multidisciplinary databases simultaneously along with the Main Catalog. Enter your terms in the single search box or use the advanced search option to add search terms.
- Subject QuickSearch
- Select a subject or subjects (using the ‘see all subjects’ option), then search pre-selected core databases in the subject area(s)/disciplines.
Add or remove databases from the core list, or search each database separately. - Format QuickSearch
- Search online dictionaries, dissertation databases, library catalogs and other types of resources simultaneously. Select titles you would like to search together or search each title separately.
