Most comprehensive index to zoological literature. Records cover every aspect of zoology, including biochemistry, behavior, ecology evolution, genetics, etc. Over 4,500 international serials plus approximately 1,500 non-serial publications are currently monitored, including professional journals, magazines, newsletters, monographs, books, reviews, and conference proceedings.

A network of over 1000 accomplished life science faculty assess the scholarly merit of recent peer-reviewed literature. Comprehensive reference covering the life histories of North American birds. BNA is an online project of the Cornell Lab of Ornithology and contains image and video galleries showing behaviors, habitat, nests, eggs and nestlings, and recordings of bird songs and calls.

Comprehensive coverage of all aspects of chemistry. Combines several Chemical Abstracts Service (CAS) databases:
CHEMnetBASE    
Consists of several chemical data handbooks from Chapman & Hall/CRC.
Collection of evidence-based medicine databases covering the effects of interventions in health care. Published quarterly. Includes Cochrane Database of Systematic Reviews; Database of Abstracts of Reviews of Effects; Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials; Cochrane Database of Methodology Reviews; Cochrane Methodology Register; Health Technology Assessment Database; and NHS Economic Evaluation Database.
Access to citations and abstracts for every title in the Dissertation Abstracts database. Dissertations written from 1997 forward are available full text. The database includes citations to dissertations from 1861 to those accepted last semester. Citations for dissertations and master's theses published from 1980 forward have abstracts.

Produced by the American Psychological Association, it is the most comprehensive database of psychology. Provides abstracts and citations to the scholarly literature in the behavioral sciences and mental health.
UpToDate    
Comprehensive evidence-based medical information written and peer-reviewed by and for practicing clinicians. All summaries are continually updated, organized by topic, and contain full bibliographies with links to Medline abstracts.

Aluka    
Online primary source materials and documentation from or concerning Africa. Currently includes materials in these areas: African Cultural Heritage Sites and Landscapes, African Plants, and Struggles for Freedom in Southern Africa.
Indexing of journals and conference papers published in Spain in a wide variety of disciplines in the humanities, social, life, and physical sciences. A subset of the database, ISOC-America Latina, indexes 20 Spanish journals dedicated to Latin American topics.
Indexes papers and poster sessions from major scientific conferences and meetings around the world. Subject emphasis since 1995 has been in the life sciences, environmental sciences and the aquatic sciences, while older material also covers physics, engineering and materials science.
Full-text ethnography materials of the world's cultures. At present, eHRAF indexes only 60 cultures, so for comprehensive treatment of world cultures use the HRAF microfiche collection in Microform Services (Microfiche 285). The collection of ethnography was produced on microfiche from 1950 to 1993. Multi-disciplinary database providing select full text articles, abstracts, and indexing. Consists of databases for scholarly sources in agriculture, applied science and technology, art, biology, business, education, general science, humanities, law, library and information science, social sciences, as well as popular appeal titles.
