    Digital library of works written or published in the United States, as well as items printed elsewhere, that document the history of the Americas from 1492 to the mid-1800s. Based on Sabin's Bibliotheca Americana.
  • Early English Books Online (EEBO)
    Collection of over 125,000 titles listed in Pollard and Redgrave's Short-Title Catalogue (1475-1640), Wing's Short-Title Catalogue (1641-1700), the Thomason Tracts (1640-1661), and the Early English Tract Supplement in full digital facsimile from the Early English Books microfilm collection. All titles are accessible through the Main Catalog.

  • Making of the Modern World (1450-1850)
    Digital edition of the Goldsmiths'-Kress collections of books on that document economic and business activity in the West, from the last half of the 15th century to the mid-19th century. Materials include books, pamphlets and ephemera and cover a broad range of topics in political science, history, sociology, and banking, finance, transportation and manufacturing.

  • Humanities Text Initiative (HTI) at University of Michigan
    Full text resources in the Humanities.  Major collections include the American Verse Project and the Modern English Collection.
  • Making of America (University of Michigan Digital Library Initiative)
    Full text materials on American social history from the antebellum period through reconstruction. The collection currently contains approximately 8,500 books and 50,000 journal articles with 19th century imprints.
