Collections and Collection Development
Help Us
The Library builds collections in many ways: through acquistions; exchange programs with other institutions and societies; and donations of volumes from faculty, students, alumni and other individuals. We welcome recommendations for new titles from members of the Princeton University community. We also encourage individuals and particularly our students to become members of the Friends of the Princeton University Library so that the Library collections and programs serving our students and scholars everywhere remain strong.
New Acquisitions
Each year, Princeton University Library has the opportunity to add very special items to its holdings of print, digital, non-print and manuscript material either through acquisition or as gifts to the Library. We have chosen some of these titles added this year to highlight. They may also be found by searching the Library’s Online Catalog.
