Samuel Bochart Collection

Collection of materials by or relating to Samuel Bochart, 1599-1667. The collection includes manuscripts, correspondence, and Bochart's annotated copies of the printed works of various other authors. A complete list of Bochart's manuscripts and printed works is in an appendix to the dissertation of Zur Shalev, Ph.D. '04, "Geographia Sacra: Cartography, religion, and scholarship in the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries." Note that we do not hold microfilm of all of the items cited in the dissertation.

Collection of materials on the book trade in 18th century France. The collection was assembled for the dissertation of Thierry Rigogne, Ph.D. '05, "Print in the Provinces: The booksellers and printers of provincial France in the 1764 survey of the book trade." A list of the material consulted by Rigogne is included in the bibliography of the dissertation; however, we do not hold microfilm of all of the items cited.
