Setsuko Noguchi

Japanese Studies Librarian

Setsuko Noguchi started working at Princeton in 2012. She has an MLS from Simmons College and a BA in Japanese Literature from Musashino Women’s University (Tokyo). Previously, she worked for 10 years at University of Illinois as Japanese Studies Librarian, and was also the shared Japanese Studies Librarian for the CIC (Univ. of Illinois, Univ. of Minnesota, and Univ. of Wisconsin). Setsuko also has teaching experience as a TA at Musashino Women’s University Library and Information Science Program. Her research interests are history of Japanese collections in the US, bibliographies, and user education.
