Member Viewpoint Guidelines

Member Viewpoint was launched in May 1999 as an occasional feature on the pula-l e-list. All PULA members are invited to submit any comments, musings, etc. that they'd like to share with their co-workers.

A few simple guidelines for submissions:

  • --The topic should be work-related.
  • --The tone should be civil.
  • --The length should be reasonable.

    Posting of messages is at the pula-l listowners' discretion, in keeping with these guidelines. The listowners may suggest edits, but authors will have the the chance to review and approve any changes. Anonymity will be honored if requested. Messages will be archived on the PULA Web site.

    A good general rule of thumb for posting to any e-list: Submit nothing that you wouldn't be willing to see published on the front page of the newspaper. The list goes out to 175 or so of your fellow staff, and to Dottie Pearson, so please choose your words accordingly.
