Printing on the new printers in campus libraries:
From a Windows machine:
- After you select "print" to print the desired document, a menu will pop up.
- Enter your userid (NETID), and then, if you wish, though it is not necessary, you can make up a password for added security (to insure that no one else will print your job accidentally).
- Go to the PHAROS Print Release Station, and type in your userid (NETID) and Princeton NT password, which may differ from your e-mail password.*
- At the Release station highlight your document and click print. If you have created an optional password, this is when you will enter it.
From a Macintosh
- Connect to \\firedom either from PRINCETON or a LIBSTAFF registered machine with a valid Princeton netid or Libstaff username.
- You will see a list of shares. Print queues are displayed as shares.
- Select the WalkinHP queue and use this queue as your printer;
- Submit your print job.
- Go to the PHAROS Print Release Station, and type in your userid (NETID) and Princeton NT password, which may differ from your e-mail password.*
- At the Release station highlight your document and click print. If you have created an optional password, this is when you will enter it.
