The Borrow Direct Services unit is responsible for managing the rapid interlibrary borrowing service that exists within a seven-library consortium.

The mission of the Borrow Direct Services unit is to ensure that the materials requested by Princeton University patrons are received within the stated time-frame and that the policies that govern the Borrow Direct service with our partners are maintained. The library patron is the focus of the mission and excellent service is the goal of all Circulation Services Division activities.

Working "behind the scenes," the Borrow Direct Services unit is responsible for receiving and making available the items requested by Princeton University Library patrons and retrieving and sending requested items to the partner institutions.
