Search all new headings in the OCLC bibliographic files and note any instances of headings and usage of your name on LC records.

Add a 670 field to your authority record to record what you have found. Use the data cited, as directed below, in constructing the heading and as justification for tracing cross references, including a linking reference from the pre-AACR2 LC heading if appropriate (See Linking References in the section on Cross References). Cite LC created and input records in OCLC in the following form:

           OCLC, [date of search]‡b(hdg.: [data] ; usage:[data])
