Brief list

If your search matched 2-5 records.

Each entry on a brief list contains a few lines of information from descriptive fields in the record.  The sort order for a brief list is:  ascending order by main entry (1xx field), title statement (245 field), publication date (Date1), and finally by OCLC control number in descending order.

Included in the list are the physical description (300 field) and the number of libraries who own the item.  “DLC” will appear for LC records.

In addition to these fields, the term “Held” indicates your institution owns the item.
