There are various types of Uniform Titles in the Card Catalog, including Main Entries and Collective titles.

Uniform TitleA Uniform Title is normally known by its location directly under the author, and in brackets.

In other cards, a Uniform Title may be typed or written on a corner of the card.

This information is entered into the 130 Field.

Collective Titles

Another type of Uniform title was used for collation purposes and is transcribed according to specific guidelines.
