Instructions for creating a new metadata document

In oXygen, choose New from the File menu, or click on the new document button. Choose XML Document from the menu and click OK. Click OK past the next menu and a new document will appear. Copy in the appropriate header below to create either a MODS document or a VRA document. If you will be using Schematron to validate your document for local practices, also copy the appropriate Schematron line and paste it *before* the MODS or VRA header.
