Buttons and icons

  • The arrows at the top work like browser arrows. You can toggle back and forth between, for example, order search and invoice search screen results.

  • Note than when you open up a PO, Invoice or Line item it creates an independent button on the task bar, so you can easily switch from one to another by click on the button. You can also move these windows around on the screen so that you can see necessary information in another record.

  • You can display all search results, not just the first 200. You can click on a "next" button to pull up more of a list of results.

  • Clear workspace button – clears the screen and any previous search results

Defaults, Preferences and Workflows

Defaults Button

  • These are default values for creating new records of various kinds.

  • Defaults persist from session to session!! If they’re set on Friday afternoon, they’ll still be there on Monday morning. It is very important, therefore, that before sitting down to do any production work, you check your defaults.  

Preferences Button

  • Color preferences – see settings at Voyager Preferences and Workflows.

    • In addition there is a color which indicates Tabs with information behind them in the Detail line item view. These colors and standard and should not be changed.

  • List bar

    • Default workspace area: The default will be set at Search orders. Staff may change this if they wish.

    • List bar appearance area– Staff may change colors and background if they wish.

    • Position – should be set at Left side of window. Do not change.

  • Sounds and animation

    • Tool tips and deletion reminder: ON Music and transitions: OFF

Preferences also persist from session to session.
