Public Exhibition “Creativity of Cuban Thin Shell Structures” Coming Soon
The new installment of the popular exhibition for CEE463: A Social and Multi-dimensional Exploration of Structures is coming to the Engineering Library. "Creativity of Cuban Thin Shell Structures" tells the story of select engineers and architects who shaped Havana’s architecture of thin shell structures and in some cases defined an authentic style that is creatively Cuban. The exhibition opening will be held April 27 in the Friend Center.
“Evolution of German Shells: Efficiency in Form,” which celebrates and examines German thin-shell structural continues to be on display on the first floor of the library and is open to the public during library’s open hours.
Writing Center Conferences
Writing Center Conferences are now being offered in the Engineering Library, room 106. 50 minute appointments are available on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons from 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm. The Engineering Librarian holds office hours Wednesday afternoon, from 2:30pm to 4:30pm, in room 107. No appointment necessary; just stop by and have all your library related questions answered. The Engineering Library is open to the public Monday through Friday, 8:30 am - 7:00 pm; Saturday, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm; Sunday, 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm. Weekend access is via the William Street entrance.
