Program: Buddy Program Information Session

Program Description:

The Library Education and Training Committee (LETC) and I would like to invite anyone interested in the Library’s new Buddy Program (or in becoming a “Buddy”) to attend one of the information sessions we’ve organized to get this initiative started.

Briefly, “The New Employee Buddy Program is a program at the library where each new employee is introduced to a group of experienced employees from different branches or units.  They share their knowledge and work experiences in a friendly, informal way.” (from the Buddy Program proposal) Essentially a relaxed, informal mentoring program, Library Buddies will be key to creating a friendly atmosphere in the library.
