Consists primarily of illustrations, bookplates, monograms, and printers' marks created by the famous Czech graphic artist and book illustrator, Hugo Steiner-Prag. The illustrations were created for works by George Byron, Charles de Coster, Salomon Gessner, Arthur Gobineau, Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, Franz Grillparzer, Auguste Hauschner, Friedrich Hebbel, Heinrich Heine, E. T. A. Hoffmann, Hermann Kesten, Nicolaus Lenau, Prosper Merimee, Meyer Meyrink, Moliere, Eduard Morike, Charles Nodier, Wilhelm Raabe, Leo Tolstoy, and Emil Vachek. Also included in the collection are photographs of bookbindings, photographs of international book exhibitions, biographical materials from various exhibitions of Steiner-Prag's work, and scenic lithographs of Prague.
