Mendel Music Library
Research Help for Music, Dance & Theater

The Princeton Library provides a variety of routes you can take to obtain help with any research questions you might have, as well as questions on how to use the catalog, a vast array of print and online resources, and numerous specialized tools for in-depth probing of a particular topic and for managing bibliographic data. The following suggestions focus on the performing arts, particularly music (for the time being)--but, in fact, apply across most disciplines in the arts and humanities, and beyond.

Music Research Guide (Music LibGuide)

A dynamic, selective guide to a wide variety of fundamental and specialized resources (and strategies for their best use) that are essential for undertaking successful undergraduate and graduate research in music and music-related topics at Princeton (and beyond)--and for enjoying musical life at Princeton and in nearby areas. The right side bar connects to e-mail and chat reference options. This guide makes use of a new Web-based interface known as LibGuide (developed by Springshare).
