Instructions for Using the Microfilm Reader/Scanner in Mendel Music Library
General Information
- The ScanPro 1000 is available for reading and scanning microfilm, microfiche, microcards and micro-opaques. It can scan filmed images to PDF files, TIFF files, and JPEG files. It can also enhance filmed images that are too dark or too light, so that the image can be read more easily. Scanned files can be saved to USB drive, written to CD's or saved to the Princeton central file server ("H" drive) for users with a valid Princeton netid. For instructions to access your H: drive please see the following address: http://helpdesk.princeton.edu/kb/display.plx?ID=9347
- At this time, printing services are unavailable from the ScanPro 1000. If you would like to print, it is suggested to save the image and print it from one of the print stations on the first or second floor of Mendel Library.
