The New York Times

Princeton faculty, students, and staff have access to The New York Times (NYT) Digital Edition provided by Princeton University Library. Princeton users have full access to NYTimes.com and NYT's Apple and Android apps.

HOW TO ACCESS:

  • Register for an Academic Pass using an @princeton.edu or @pppl.gov email address.
  • Registrants can change their log-in email to another email (e.g. gmail) by updating their NYT account.
  • Users will need to renew the Academic Pass after one year.

The license does not include e-reader editions, NYT tablet apps, Premium Crosswords, or the NYT Crosswords apps. NYT apps are not supported on all devices. Access to archived articles within the date range 1923-1980 is limited.
