Sign up for a workshop on digital files & materials with the Society of American Archivists

Princeton University Library's Department of Special Collections (RBSC) has arranged to host two Society of American Archivists (SAA) workshops this spring. SAA supports the needs and interests of archives and archivists across North America. 

April 20th
RBSC will host the all-day workshop, Command Line Interface, taught by Julie Swierczek, librarian for primary resources and metadata services at Swarthmore College. The course will cover the basics of digital files, data manipulation, and computer coding for digital collection management.

May 21st
RBSC will host a second all-day workshop, Privacy and Confidentiality Issues in Digital Archives, taught by Dr. Jean E. Dryden, consultant and educator on records management. The workshop focuses on privacy and confidentiality legal issues in digital material, with focus on third-party rights, donors, and other special situations.
