Much of the Library's collections is housed in various offsite locations. These include storage locations at the Forrestal Campus (Annex A) and Fine Hall (Annex B) as well as our ReCAP (Research Collections and Preservation Consortium) facility. Anyone with access privileges to the Library can request material from the annexes by filling out a request form linked to an item's record in the catalog.
ReCAP requests require a patron barcode number, so circulation staff must place these requests for patrons without borrowing privileges. To request an item in advance from ReCAP so that it will be available at the circulation desk (or in the Microforms Service, if it is involves reels, fiche, or microcards) when you visit the Library, you will need to e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org with information about the item(s) and when you intend to visit. You will receive an e-mail confirming the material has come. Please note: you will need to have an access card in order to come to Firestone to use the item (see Library Privileges for Visitors for more information).
