Resource Sharing Services enables Princeton University faculty, students, and staff to request materials that are not readily available at the University Library. There are three independent, but related, services that comprise Resource Sharing:
- Borrow Direct: a rapid, patron-initiated borrowing and lending service offered by Princeton University Library and nine partner libraries--Brown, Columbia, Cornell, Dartmouth, Harvard, MIT, the University of Chicago, the University of Pennsylvania, and Yale.
- Interlibrary Services: provides the ability to borrow books and obtain articles and other materials from many libraries and sources worldwide.
- Article Express: a service through which faculty members can obtain journal or newspaper articles, chapters or selections from books, or papers from conference proceedings.
All borrowers may not be eligible to use all the Resource Sharing services. Please see eligibility requirements for the individual services for details.
