Oscar Torres-Reyna joined Princeton University Library in 2007, bringing 20 years of work/research experience in public, private, and academic sectors. He has a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the School of Economics of Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (National Autonomous University of Mexico), a diploma in Applied Statistics from Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (Mexico Autonomous Institute of Technology), a Master of Public Administration, a Master of Philosophy, and a Ph.D. in Political Science from Columbia University all with strong focus on applied quantitative analysis. Oscar's teaching interests are on developing a better learning infrastructure to help students getting started on data analysis. His research interests are on economic growth, poverty, presidential approval, and public opinion.
