The Video Library provides resources, facilities, and support for the purposeful use of technology in teaching, learning, and research. The Video Library supports independent language study with a large selection of instructional materials and the appropriate viewing technology. The Video Library also assists Princeton University faculty in incorporating technology and video in their teaching and research. The VL manages the majority of the University's video collection and video reserves .
Video Streaming: Digitizing Requests
Video materials placed on reserve are generally made available to students of the course via Video-On-Demand. Students registered in these classes may view assigned video materials at any time during the semester through the Blackboard course page while on campus.
Requests to have films digitized for class can be entered into ORRS or contact Barbara McLaughlin, email@example.com. If you have any questions regarding this video streaming service or would like more information please call 258-0739.
Video Reserves for Fall 2016/Spring 2017 Courses
Requests for video materials to be held on course reserve should be placed through Firestone Library's Online Reserve Request System. Detailed instructions for using this system can be found on the ORRS Instruction Sheet. To put items on reserve log into ORRS.
