Visitors conducting searches on the Library website now see objects from the Museum’s collections included in the search results, along with other various topic-related Library holdings such as books, journals, archives, maps and geographic collections, digital collections, and databases.PUL's new exhibition "Gutenberg & After" showcases rare collections on early European printing from Scheide Library and nine other institutions The exhibition "Gutenberg & After: Europe's First Printers 1450-1470" uniquely told the story of the two decades that transformed text production and distribution across Europe, and it was the first exhibition of its kind.PUL presents exhibition in honor of Toni Morrison at Firestone Library As the world mourned the passing of Toni Morrison, Nobel Laureate in Literature and Robert F. Goheen Professor in the Humanities, Emeritus, at Princeton University, Princeton University Library presented in her memory a selection of first editions, translations, corrected typescripts, and a handwritten first draft of her novels, open through spring 2020.New campus-wide service will enhance access to research data With the goal of making the results of research and scholarship more accessible, Princeton launched a new service, the Princeton Research Data Service, to provide infrastructure and training to University researchers on how best to format and curate data in ways that facilitate long-term storage and discovery. Research Collections and Preservation Consortium (ReCAP) expands scope and membership In January 2019, Harvard University joined ReCAP, the consortium founded by Columbia University, the New York Public Library, and Princeton University, transforming its original mission from serving as a shared physical repository to becoming a model for shared collection building and management.Princeton University Library builds collection of local history across the United States As Princeton University Library (PUL) increasingly works to ensure further access to diverse intellectual and cultural research for not only Princeton's scholars but also national and international researchers, a librarian at PUL began building a collection of local history from different regions across the United States.
