The digital companion to Princeton University Library’s latest exhibition, “Through a Glass Darkly: Alchemy and the Ripley Scrolls 1400-1700” is now available to view online in the  Digital Princeton University Library,

Made possible by Emma Sacrconi, Reference Professional for Special Collecitons and Online Exhibition Manager, the digital exhibition documents the innovations of alchemy, from transmuting metals into gold and silver to attempting to prolong human life. The digital exhibition features high-resolution scans of items featured physically in the Gallery. The digital items also feature curatorial notes, as well as information about their acquisition and binding whenever possible.

"Through a Glass Darkly," curated by Associate Professor of History Jennifer Rampling, is on display April 6 through July 17, 2022, in the Milberg Gallery, Firestone Library.
