Jan. 21, 2025 Circulation, course reserves, and book paging services at Princeton University’s Lewis Science Library are receiving a new look to start the spring 2025 term. Beginning Monday, January 27, all of Lewis Library’s circulation services will only be available through the STEM Circulation Services desk, located in the Engineering Library on the A-floor of Fine Hall. Checking out books and picking up holds or course reserves will only be available through STEM Circulation Services in the Engineering Library.Reserves, holds, and paging formerly designated for pickup from Lewis Science Library will only show Engineering Library as a pickup location in the Library Catalog and Canvas beginning Monday, January 27.What’s staying the same?Lewis Library will still feature an information desk. Library staff will be available to answer questions and assist with technology during operating hours.Patrons can still return items in the book drop slot at the Lewis Library information desk and outside Lewis Library near Fine Tower.The STEM Circulation Services desk in the Engineering Library is fully accessible from Lewis Library by both stairs and elevator. Wayfinding signs around Lewis Library will point to Engineering Library access points. Course reserves are available throughout the semester.
