Food is not permitted in any Library space with the exception of the Tiger Tea Room in Firestone Library. 

Non-alcoholic drinks in approved, spill-proof containers are generally allowed in most campus libraries, except in Mudd Library, Marquand Library, and Special Collections. Containers not considered acceptable include open cups or mugs, aluminum cans, or glass bottles. 

Cell phones should be used only in areas where conversations do not disturb others (foyers, entrance halls, enclosed stairwells, etc.). Please silence cell phone ringers in all study areas.
