For the Library, she leads the development and ongoing operation of services that focus on the student library experience, with a focus on undergraduates, instructional programs, and information services. In addition to her work as a librarian, Jen has a background as an academic writing instructor, and a marketing/advertising writer and web content strategist. She has a Bachelor of Arts in comparative literature from Rutgers University, Douglass College, a Master of Arts in English from Rutgers-Camden, and a Master of Library and Information Science From Rutgers School of Information. As a first generation college student, she is passionate about higher education and its transformative effects. Her research interests include community and belongingness as an essential part of learning and affective approaches to librarianship and learning.
