Bio/Description

Setsuko Noguchi started working at Princeton University Library in 2012. She has a Master of Library Science from Simmons College and a Bachelor of Arts in Japanese Literature from Musashino Women's University in Tokyo, Japan. Previously, she worked 10 years at University of Illinois as Japanese Studies Librarian and was also the shared Japanese Studies Librarian for the Committee on Institutional Cooperation (University of Illinois, University of Minnesota, and University of Wisconsin). Setsuko also has teaching experience as a Teaching Assistant at Musashino Women's University Library and Information Science Program. Her research interests are history of Japanese collections in the United States, bibliographies, and rare books.
