Collections and Collection Development
General questions regarding collecting at Princeton may be directed to David Magier, Associate University Librarian for Collection Development; or Patricia Gaspari-Bridges, Assistant University Librarian for Collection Development.
Tracie Emanuel, Administrative Assistant to the AUL, leads the Collection Development Department's staff in processing Gifts for the Library, assisting all selectors in evaluating collections for damaged and missing titles, and providing acquisitions support for the twelve selectors who report to this department.
The Collection Development Office is open from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Summer hours are 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Questions regarding a specific research topic may be directed to one of Princeton University Library's Subject Specialists.
Each year, Princeton University Library has the opportunity to add very special items to its holdings of print, digital, non-print and manuscript material either through acquisition or as gifts to the Library. We have chosen some of these titles added this year to highlight. They may also be found by searching the Library’s Online Catalog.
