Abstract
For 60 years the Center for Research Libraries (CRL) has provided a consortial organizational framework through which librarians, scholars and curators have collaborated to identify and preserve millions of critical documents, newspapers, books, and other materials from all regions of the world. Today CRL Global Resources, a partnership of 245 U.S. and Canadian universities, colleges and independent research libraries, makes the traditional and electronic resources thus assembled available to a rapidly growing community of academic researchers.
