Photography and Permissions Requests

Publication-quality photographs and digital images from any item in Marquand Library may be requested. Fees generally apply. Please submit your request below.

Photographic duplication is the only method for obtaining images from Marquand's rare books. Rare books are designated in the library catalog with locations Marquand Library (SAX) Rare Books and RECAP Marquand Library (Rare).

Photography requests are occasionally denied because of an item's condition. All items requested are first submitted to the appropropriate professional staff member for curatorial approval.

If you wish to publish an image from our collection, please submit a Permissions Request.

You will need to submit additional forms if requesting images from more than three items.
