Reserving Instruction Room (A62)

Marquand has a seminar-style room on A Floor used primarily for library instruction purposes and rare book consultations. The room is also available to Princeton graduate students and faculty, and others on a case-by-case basis. It must be unlocked by a Marquand staff member, and interested parties must be trained in the use of the media equipment if needed. Please submit a request for use a day or two in advance or the use is not guaranteed. The room is not available after 9pm, Sunday-Thursday, after 6pm on Fridays (unless no technology is required), nor usually on Saturdays, and is not generally made available for regularly-scheduled non-library classes. Submit your request below.

Equipment:

  • Six Dell laptops with Microsoft Office; laptops are stored and recharged in a moveable cart. Marquand Library has one or two additional laptops available if needed. Please contact a staff member prior to your class to reserve them.
  • Overhead transparency projector
  • Slide carousel
  • Chalkboard
  • Overheard Projector (Mac dongles must be supplied by user)
  • Audio speakers
  • Media cabinet: DVD, VHS, CD (for technical support, contact Media Services, x3196 or media@princeton.edu)
