Trial to three new East Asian databases
Princeton, December 15:
Starting from today, Princeton users have trial access to three new databases until February 5, 2021. These databases are published by a Korean publisher, but also include Japanese and Classical Chinese content. Please see the individual descriptions below.
The Collection of Korean Geography, Customs and History DB (韓國地理風俗誌DB)
A collection of 400 volumes on geography, customs and history of Korea published between late Chosen and 1945 published by Governor-General of Korea. Includes original text images in Japanese (searchable).

Historical Resources for Relations between Korea and Japan DB (韓日關係史DB)
About 20,000 articles in a chronological order on Korea-Japan relations extracted from 三國史記, 三國遺事, 高麗史, 高麗史節要, and 朝鮮王朝實錄. Includes original text images in classical Chinese (searchable) and translation in Korean.
The Series of Geography, History and Customs of Manchuria-Mongolia DB (滿蒙地理歷史風俗誌DB)
A collection of 200 volumes on geography, history and customs of Manchuria and Mongolia between late Chosen and 1945 published by Governor-General of Korea. Includes original text images in Japanese (searchable).
