A Day in Digitopolis - April 9th

A DAY IN DIGITOPOLIS

Sponsored by the Cotsen Children’s Library, in collaboration with Bedtime Math

a day in digitopolis

Visit beautiful Digitopolis, the mathematical kingdom from The Phantom Tollbooth!

Meet the good citizens of Digitopolis, including Laura Overdeck of Bedtime Math! Tap into the work of Professor Dan Rubenstein of Princeton University, visit the Fibonacci Forest, listen to sound fractions, and chat with our esteemed Mathamagician (otherwise known as Brent Ferguson, faculty of math at the Lawrenceville School).

Full of hands-on exploration, demonstrations, games, challenges, and unexpected connections, Digitopolis is for both the mathphilic AND the mathphobic. It's going to be amazing fun!

1:00pm - 4:00pm
Frick Chemistry Building, Princeton University campus (map and parking info at: princeton.edu/cotsenevents)
