Now available: Premium accounts to protocols.io, an open access repository of research protocols
Princeton University students, faculty, and staff now have access to free premium accounts on protocols.io, an open access repository of step-by-step, detailed protocols and methods for researchers across multiple disciplines, particularly those in the sciences and engineering. Funded by Princeton University Library, access to protocols.io allows Princeton researchers to create, manage, and share their research protocols and methods with other users on the platform, making them freely available for other scholars and improving reproducibility across the field. Lack of detailed methodologies in published articles often creates an obstacle in reproducing research. Users may also choose to keep their research private.
This new research data management tool supports open access at the University.
Accounts created with a princeton.edu email have been automatically upgraded. Otherwise, to sign up or to upgrade your current account, follow the instructions on the protocols.io website.
