The core group is currently working on a few upcoming presentations:

  • A "Roadshow" on the potential of linked data for our Princeton collection development colleagues
  • A second round of "The Future of Library Catalog Data", an intro to linked data for all library staff, facilitated by the Library Education and Training Committee (LETC)
  • A presentation on our Derrida project at at SWIB 2017 (Semantic Web in Libraries)
  • An ALCTS Webinar, in early 2018 (details to be announced)

In addition, we've been testing and providing feedback on the vitrolib editor, and have begun looking the new version of the Library of Congress' BIBFRAME editor as well. These are two top contenders for tools that will allow us to create records as RDF, or linked data (rather than creating MARC first and then converting to linked data).
