The beginning of October marks the start of the final 6-month phase of our subproject. Since our last update, two weeks ago, we have finished creating MARC bibliographic descriptions for our sample set of Derrida's books. Creating MARC records is a step toward generating BIBFRAME descriptions using the Library of Congress' MARC to BIBFRAME converter. We have also combined the transcribed dedications and are making rapid progress on a simple, in-house annotation editor, which will help us with the process of creating annotations that conform to the Web Annotation data model.

In addition, we are continuing our exploration of RDF editors. This is toward the aim of being able to create BIBFRAME descriptions directly, without having to create MARC records first.
