Given our workloads, we've decided to hold off on the linked data reading group for the time being.
Work on our in-house "annotation editor" is nearly ready for testing. We'll be reviewing and discussing our annotation data model before using it in earnest. Once we get going, we'll have approximately 500 annotations to semi-manually parse out and edit.
Joyce is scheduled to present Linked Data for Rare Books and Special Collections in early Dec., to raise awareness of the existence and possibilities of linked data within RBSC.
Planning for the upcoming meeting of LD4P partners in D.C. is nearly complete. One of the main agenda items will be a follow-on grant.
