    Bring your data to life with crochet! This workshop series will teach you how to encode data that is meaningful to you into a beautiful, tactile project.   • Digital Scholarship Foundations: Static Websites (2 of 4)

    Our spring program, which will begin Wednesday, February 5, is centered around websites to develop fundamental skills necessary for a variety of digital projects. Participants will attend four workshops where they will learn about version control, metadata, web publishing, and more as they build their own website. While this is open to all, we expect this will be of particular interest to graduate students, postdocs, and research staff who wish to excel at developing and maintaining digital projects. If you are interested in attending, please complete an application by Tuesday, January 21. If you have any questions, please email [email protected]. "The Web, Markdown, and Data" is the second session in a four-part series. The other workshops in the series are: "GitHub and Getting to Know Your Computer" (February 5), "CollectionBuilder and Local Development" (March 5), and "Advanced Building and Basic Computational Methods" (March 19).
