Mendel Study Carrels Priority is given to current graduate music students and faculty. Undergraduate senior music majors are assigned carrels on availability. Mendel Multimedia Room The Mendel Multimedia Room is equipped with 4 iMacs, Video viewing station, Nostalgia station (with LP and cassette playback), the Microfilm reader/scanner, lots of study space, and plenty of plugs to charge your laptop or phones. At the request of the funder, William Scheide, the music library was renamed to honor former Princeton faculty member and Scheide’s teacher Arthur Mendel (1905–1979) for his outstanding contributions as Bach scholar, performer, editor, critic, and teacher to the discipline of music.
