Touch-screen BookScan stations are located in each of the campus libraries. These easy-to-use stations allow you to save your scans in a variety of file formats and either e-mail, transfer to a USB flash drive, save to the cloud, or send to a smartphone. Consult library staff for more information. Library locations with scanners are as follows:

  • Architecture
  • East Asian
  • Engineering
  • Firestone Library
  • Furth Plasma Physics
  • Lewis
  • Marquand
  • Mendel Music (Flatbed scanners)
  • Stokes libraries.

These workstations, which offer a broad array of graphics software, are intended primarily for students and faculty in the departments served by those libraries; others should make arrangements in advance with the appropriate department.

The Map and Geospatial Information Center in the Fine Hall Wing of Lewis Library has a large-format color scanner available for use only with the Library's map collection.
