Walter E. Edge Papers

The Walter E. Edge Papers document Edge's personal and professional life through correspondence, speeches, government documents, photographs, memorabilia, and scrapbooks. Though much of the correspondence is personal, there are some letters that pertain to the New Jersey Republican Party. Edge's writings of note include speeches given after his term as Ambassador to France. The Documents and Printed Matter series includes materials Edge accumulated while Ambassador to France and during his second term as Governor of New Jersey. The collection contains numerous Edge family photographs. The Awards, Certificates, and Scrapbooks Series combines many of the accolades and mementos Edge collected during his career.
