A checked copy of the above bibliography is included in the James collection [(Ex) 3799.7.031.1961]. The collection contains many volumes by James, including first editions. Princeton has one of only seven remaining copies of the printed promptbook of the novelist's play The American, a comedy in four acts (London, William Heinemann, 1891).
