Freedom House Records
The Freedom House Records contain the administrative records of this organization. The collection consists of various forms of textual, graphic and audiovisual materials. The collection provides an overview of the organization and its activities, primarily through 1993. Many of the more recent records remain in the hands of the organization.
William Hard Papers
The collection contains Hard's files for a planned book on the League of Nations fight, which include voluminous correspondence, notes, typescripts, articles, speeches, articles, and supplementary materials. Correspondence files include drafts of conversations with Theodore Roosevelt, Woodrow Wilson, and other prominent personalities. Notes and typescripts contain the book outline and typed chapters; reference notes on various issues including the League Fight, Versailles Treaty and the World Court.
Association on American Indian Affairs Records
The Records of the Association on American Indian Affairs consist primarily of textual records, with modest but revealing bodies of photographic and audiovisual material. They represent the work of many hands, both paid and unpaid, and testify to the durability of the AAIA and the needs which called it into existence.
