    Princeton University Library Acquires Jacques Derrida's Personal Library

    The Princeton University Library is very pleased to announce the acquisition of the vast personal working library of the famous—and famously controversial—philosopher, Jacques Derrida, whose ideas have profoundly influenced scholarship in many disciplines. His library of more than 13,000 books represents a lifetime of intensive reading, while the extensive annotations they contain reveal the ways in which he integrated what he read into his evolving philosophical structures and methodologies.
