Sara Howard joined Princeton University Library in 2016. Sara is the Librarian for Gender and Sexuality Studies and Student Engagement. Sara holds a Bachelor's degree in Sociology with a focus in Gender Studies, a Master's of Library Science and Information Studies. Prior to Princeton, Sara held positions at Wesleyan University and Queens College.
Sara supports the Program for Gender and Sexuality Studies and all faculty, staff and students at Princeton that conduct and engage with research on Gender and Sexuality. Sara is the liaison to the Emma Bloomberg Center and the Gender & Sexuality Resource Center.
Sara's research interests include; gender and labor, gender and performance and exploring traditionally and purposefully marginalized voices and materials within the academy.
