Series Statements and Series HeadingsThe series heading is formulated to be a unique, uniform heading to apply to all items in the series. While it often consists only of a title proper identical to the series statement, it may be a name/title heading or it may require a qualifier to distinguish it from other series of the same name. Qualifiers may be a place of publication, a corporate body, a date, or an edition statement. The type of qualifier is based on what most appropriately distinguishes the titles from one another. |
